Heron Cottage, Cornwall

Wow what a lovely gem.this cottage is perfect set in the cornish countryside with amazing views easy accessible to beautiful interesting places..so comfortable immaculate clean..nothing negative to be said you will not find any faults here..cant wait to return 10/10 this is our 2nd stay would not book anywhere else.

'Dear Jane and Richard, Just a quick email to say thank you again. Our second visit to Well Cottage and we certainly weren't disappointed. The weather may not have been quite up to last years but we still had a lovely time and the cottage was just as we had remembered. Grandma loved it so much she wants to retire there! Spotlessly clean, with excellent facilities, everything you need for a comfortable stay. I have never stayed in such a pristine holiday home, with such wonderful surroundings. “I stayed in the Heron Cottage with my twin daughters for a two week family holiday and was not in any way disappointed with my choice. We were welcomed upon arrival by the owners Jane and Richard (very nice people) before Richard showed us around the property. Richard and Jane live on site and although very unobtrusive, were always on hand. The cottage itself was fantastic. Well designed, very comfortable, maintained to a very high standard and contained everything you could need. It is set in a beautiful, quiet location whilst being ideal to explore Cornwall. Cornwall is a beautiful county and well worth a visit and I would highly recommend staying at one of the properties at Hawksland Mill. Thank you Jane and Richard and we look forward to a return visit.”

Within easy reach of Padstow and Newquay, and with excellent facilities in very nearby Wadebridge, we found it to be an excellent base for our stay in Cornwall and would most certainly stay again. 'Great place to explore Cornwall Hawksland Mill,, Hawksland, St Issey , Wadebridge, PL27 7RG, United Kingdom We (2 adults, 2 teenagers) spent two very relaxing weeks at the Leat Cottage. The cottage and and the surrounding gardens are well maintained and very clean. We particularly liked breakfasting in the conservatory which has a great view of the countside. The quality of the furniture and appliances is high and exceeded our expectations. Richard and Jane are very helpful and easily reached for any questions. We used the cottage as our base to explore Cornwall - from Boscastle, Tintagel, Newquay, St. Austell, St. Ives, St Michels Mount to Lands End. Most places can be reached in less than one hours driving. Wadebridge, the which is just a few minutes away, is a nice small town with many restaurants and shops, but not as crowded as Newquay or Padstow.'
